Charcuterie board and bubbly on arrival.

Starters

  • Creamed mushrooms. Sauteed in cream and brandy, served on toasted bread.
  • Roasted root vegetable and Stilton soup. Served with homemade bread and butter.
  • Chicken liver pate. A smooth homemade pate with brandy served with toast and chutney
  • Prawn and Avocado cocktail. Served with ripe avocado, crisp lettuce and a lemon mayo dressing.

Mains

  • Roast Local Turkey. Served with roast and mashed potatoes, pigs in blankets, Abbey stuffing, traditional seasonal vegetables and a rich turkey gravy.
  • Roast Sirloin. Served with roast and mashed potato, Yorkshire pudding, traditional seasonal vegetables and a rich beef gravy.
  • Spiced Xmas nut roast with cranberries. Served with a red wine and tomato sauce,roast and mashed potatoes and a selection of traditional vegetables.
  • Salmon en croute. Served with a watercress sauce, buttered new potatoes and a selection of seasonal vegetables.

Desserts

  • Christmas pudding.  Mature pudding served with brandy sauce.
  • Baked cheesecake. Served with port soaked berries and vanilla bean ice-cream
  • Chocolate Torte. Served with white chocolate ice-cream
  • Cheese board. A selection of cheeses, grapes and crackers
