John and Julie would like to welcome you to the Historic Abbey. As you can imagine the beautiful 18th century building with previous origins has been an Inn since the mid 1800 ‘s.The front of the building has a south facing patio great for dining and a relaxing drink.
Across the car park we have a boules court ready for your use, great for small groups to enjoy.The inside of The Abbey Inn has small cosy snug that can be hired for small private parties and meetings. Our main room provides cosy dining.
We are in a great spot for walkers and we are dog friendly.
We vary our menus according to the seasons, our food is cooked from locally sourced fresh ingredients. All dishes are cooked in house by Julie and her team. We provide a small but flexible menu and can adapt for a range of dietary requirements as food is cooked to order. Due to the our limited size booking are advised.
The Inn serves a mix of local and guest real ales (mostly from local small breweries of Staffordshire and Cheshire) along with a carefully selected wine , spirits and liqueurs.
The Abbey Inn is a dog friendly and welcomes well behaved dogs.
Alongside the Abbey we have a beautiful converted 3 bedroom barn (Abbey Barn). the cottage sleeps 8 and we can accommodate 2 dogs. It has an enclosed front garden.
